R.I.P Risa
Our amazing dog Risa, was put down about 30 minutes ago. She was a great dog. She had a bunch of cancer and impactions. Nothing we could do to help her. if she had surgery to remove the impactions, she would only live afterwards at max 1 month, and she would be in pain. To us it wasn't the best for Risa, so we let her go.
Risa was almost 10 years old.

I am so sorry to hear about Risa. I am sure you gave her a good home and a wonderful life.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry for your loss. 18 months ago we had to have our 13 year old collie x, Jessie, put down. She also had cancer, and whilst it was the hardest thing we've ever had to do, it was the right thing to do to stop her suffering. I know it's small comfort, but the pain does ease with time. Try to remember the happy times with Risa, but don't be afraid to cry and greive if you need to.
