More New Models

Hello everyone!

Today is my birthday, but it was celebrated Saturday. I only got three (well, Sonsela would have been the 4th, but I got her on my own) models this birthday because I have a horse now and asked for more stuff for him. :)

First up, and the Mid States Distributing Mustang set.
I am sorry for the bad pictures. I took these in mid day...just because I needed some pictures for this post. I will take more soon so the legs don't disappear into the background!!

These two are absolutely beautiful..and with Gretel being one of my favorite molds of all time, I was so happy to get her. Sadly, during the photo shoot she fell from a fence and now has some rubs, but she is still Photo Show quality. :(

I happened to get the fall on camera.

Gretel conga

My 3rd model is a 2015 Warmblood Mare Stablemate. She has a glossy sheen to her (and so does the Gretel) and has a very smooth paint job. I hand picked her and she is just beautiful.

I cannot wait to get into the show ring with these new models. I think they will take MEPSA and the IMEHA by storm. :)

Foxxy or Not?

My sisters had the brilliant idea of naming all the Traditionals I got for my birthday (this year) similarly. I don't know about it all yet, but I like their idea. If you are confused, it is okay. You will understand by the end of this post.

Birthday/Kasmir/SM pictures

Sometimes I think I post too much.

Yes, Indeed.

Or, I post about three completely different things all in one post.

Just like I am about to.

Anyway, my birthday was a complete hit. A am missing some photos, but to round it up, I went out to breakfast with my dad, bought Breyer horses, relaxed, had some friends come over, we all hiked, had dinner, ate cake, and then my friends went home and I went to bed. Pretty much a perfect day.
Left to Right: My little sister Haven, My other sister Brooke, me (blowing out the candles), and one of my best friends,
Maddie in the background.

When I get more pictures, I will probably end up putting them on here.

Anyway....I just found the next Big Cat!

I was wondering when the next Big Cat would come around. It has seemed like a while since Kimbia was released.

A Snow Leopard!!

I have to admit, in a very weird  interesting way, I kind of like him. I probably would buy him, actually. I REALLY like him much more than Kimbia. I also find the coloring fascinating.

Here is Kimbia:

I have always been a fan of Snow leopards. I find them very...mystical.

For a long time, I really liked Cheetah's. Now I am into Snow leopards.

On the other hand, I took some of my Stablemates that hardly ever see the sun outside for a photo-shoot. I counted last night, and I have a grand total of 96 Breyer Horses. It was then when I realized "how much money have I actually spent on these!?"

Princess Cadence
Snow White

Chestashire
"Spots"
Tapadaro
Iron Armor

Avalanche
That is all for now. I hope you enjoyed my endless rambling!!!

My Birthday.....New models!

My birthday isn't finished yet (well, it actually just started, it is only 10: 30 in the morning!) but I have already been to Murdochs and Dover Saddlery. I bought three new Traditionals. My sisters bought me a Classic set for my birthday. I am very happy.

                                                               Flexible

I bought Flexible at Dover Saddlery. I was looking for Harley D Zip, or Sara Moniet, but neither of them at either store. So I settled with Flexible. He is slowly growing on me. He is very pretty, but I can't take him seriously with the fly bonnet that is WAY to big for him.

Totilas

I finally got Totilas. I have been skipping him in the store, thinking "he is pure black, and he is more expensive than the other models" but I finally gave in to his beautiful face. So cute! He is a little teetery though, so I am going to be very careful photo showing him.

Snowman

I picked this handsome dude immediately. I have always wanted a Ravel model, and so I knew that this was my chance to get one. He is painted very well (well, for a WHITE horse), and his hooves are absolutely STUNNING.

                                                                        Dartmoor Foal

My sisters bought me this set for my birthday. I love the foal and the mare. This little guy's snip is very well painted, and he only has a few flaws.....except for when he fell down this cement wall four feet and badly scratched his ear. Oh well.

                                                Dartmoor Mare

This girl didn't fall down the cement, thankfully. She is close to flawless, with a few painted nicks (look at the picture of her face). This is probably my favorite Classic mold, along with the standing Quarter Horse (Dexter). I can't wait to see how she photo shows!

I also bought a Golden Retriever Schliech dog. I think I have an addiction to dogs now. Oh boy.

I also got a free Dover Saddlery Breyer blanket. It is a little too big for my other models, but fits perfectly on my monster model, Trooper. The Fly bonnet works the best for him, too.

Left to Right: Ashani (Ashka's daughter), Dartmoor mare, Ashka

More on my birthday that hasn't finished later!

Rosie's Birthday/ New Pen/ No Stella

Hello everybody!

I am sorry I haven't posted in the past few days, but many things have happened. More will be posted about  my busy life later.

Yesterday was Rosie's birthday. She turned eleven. To celebrate, I decided to make her a nice bran mash. Of course, Half Pint had to enjoy it as well, so I also made some for her.

Molasses, bran, carrots, apples, and warm water completed the yummy treat.
Waiting patiently.....well...kind of.

Rosie loved her bran mash. So did Half Pint!

Anyway, since I am getting a horse (though probably NOT Stella) soon, my dad and I have been working on a separate pen for the minis to stay in so that the horse will have the one that the minis are currently occupying.

 The new pen.
This will be a 8x12 shelter for them. It will have dutch doors and one or two windows.
The dutch door will be on the left side of this picture here.

Here comes the sad part of this blog post.

I got a call from Mrs. June a few days ago. She told me that Mrs. Tia found Stella's injury record and was shocked. Stella has had injections in her hocks and chiropractic appointments, and last year even after injections and four chiropractic appointments, Stella still had lameness. So, long story short, she has major back pain because of her hock issues, and she (unless the upcoming vet apportionment mentions something else that we can do) is pretty much non ride-able without pain, and even though she could be put on painkillers, you could never guarantee that you could ride for a long period of time.  So, (unless the vet says something else) their is about a 90% chance I will NOT get Stella.

Oh well. I guess the horse hunt continues!
