I didn't half as many models this as I got last year, BUT this year the models I got were ones I really wanted/have wanted for a long time, so I was glad to get them. :D

She Came!!

After waiting over two weeks (and from what I have heard that isn't too long..Breyer is notorious for bad shipping) OT Sara Moniet RSI came! She is beautiful and quite possibly one of my favorite molds. She has some minor rubs on her tail and her mane, and a very small beginning rub on her hindquarter, but she is pretty "clean" otherwise. I am so hooked on the mold that I am already considering the thought of buying Smoke. Here are a few pictures, I am sorry that they aren't the usual quality of my other photos, but I was rushing and the lighting isn't the best outside right now.

I think why I like this mold in particular is that she is very "feminine" in her face and she is very elegant throughout her whole body. Breyer is ruled by Stallions and Geldings, so it is good to see a very "womanly" model being sold as a regular run! :) 

QOTD: Do you have OT Sara Moniet RSI? Do you have Smoke? Do you like her?

Out Of The Slump

I think I may be out of that hobby slump I talked about. 

I bought a model horse at Dover Saddlery a week ago or so. He is modeled after Picasso, the wild Mustang in Sand Wash Basin, CO. Breyer decided to use the Desatado mold. Breyer did a great job on this model, whom I have affectionately named Midnight Tango or "Peppermint" (after my dad saying "He looks like a peppermint.") He is also super photogenic and has got some great angles I can capture behind my camera lens. 

His markings are very clean and his color is stunning. He does have a little bit of overspray on one side of his head, underneath the chin. However, he is still great to me. 

Midnight Tango gave me the extra boost I needed to stay in the hobby. I have started re-working my pedigree website, Wintergreen Park and added/am adding extra features. Breyer Zodiac Collection

Hello, everybody!!

I finally have something model horse related to post! Yay!!

Have you all heard about the Zodiac collection yet???

While I am not (as you all know) into decorator models and prefer the model in a natural color, a few of these stood out to me for sure!!!!


Capricorn

Capricorn stood out to me the most. I love this mold, and the color is probably one of the few more natural in the series. Will most certainly be considering buying him!!

Beautiful color!!!!

Taurus

Like Capricorn, his color is more "muted" than the other models and I may buy this one too.

Glad to see that this mold is back!!!

His model also stood out to me. very pretty, eye catching color.

I was born on September 1st, so I may get this model for it. My favorite color is also blue, and I love his shading!
