Spruce Mountain Hike

Yesterday my family decided to go on a hike. We go to lots of hikes at Castlewood Canyon, but this time mom and dad wanted something different....Spruce Mountain. We had never been to Spruce Mountain before. Of course, I brought a SM model "Spots" with me to take pictures. Spots has some issues with her paint, so I may get another one of her on my birthday.


It took us a while to find it....


 ..This baby Pot bellied pig chased our car down the road. It was so cute!

We had to ask directions....
It is horse country out here! Love it!

Then we found it.
A part of Spruce mountain. The big, big "mountain" was towards the left of this one. 

We had been hiking for about ten minutes when we ran into some riders on the trail. 









The views at the top were amazing!


My dad decided to climb a rock........see him?



It was a lot of fun, and I am still giggling over the Pig!

    We were up there a couple months ago and went to the same places as where you took your pics ;) LOL. It's gorgeous out there, isn't it?
