Here is Lot # 12 – A dapple grey American Saddlebred Stallion with a custom tail (mold 571). This was designed by Tom Bainbridge when he visited Breyer HQ during the Big Easy Bash!](https://scontent-b-dfw.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xap1/t1.0-9/s552x414/10300797_10152434490706075_2425658515650514407_n.jpg)
The first is a customized Traditional Saddlebred. I really like this mold. The new tail is so pretty, and the mane has had some adjustments as well. This dapple grey I REALLY like. (In this post, I mentioned I didn't really like dapple grey or grey models).
The second one announced is this palomino in the Totilas mold.

Join the bidding for the chance to take home one of these incredible test models created specifically for the BreyerFest Live Auction!](https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpa1/t1.0-9/p235x350/10415623_10152434497231075_2704941957094916343_n.jpg)
Sadly, I don't have the actual Totilas yet. The model is gorgeous (I am talking about the mold itself), but it seems a little teetery. If you have a Totilas, is it this way for you?
Till next time!

I have a horse on the Torilas mold, and he is actually surprisingly stable! So far, I haven't had any issues with him staying upright. Really, the only Breyer horse I have ever found to be "teetery" on a stand is Mistral Hojris (though he's so pretty I can forgive that). I hope this is helpful! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I am going to Dover Saddlery soon, I may just pick one up!
