Hello Everybody!!!
I am so sorry that I haven't posted this week. I have been really busy horse searching, and so I have had not had much time to blog. BTW, I decided not to get either rescue horse (Leila and Leroy), but I am going to look at an Appaloosa gelding named Ollie on Wednesday. He pretty much fits everything that I am looking for, and so he will probably be coming home with me, but you never know. I will post more info in him soon.

My IMEHA results are coming in slowly, and so far Shining Chex "Yukon" got first place in his color category. I am very happy about that. My October MEPSA results should be coming in soon also, but most of the horses who went are already qualified because my printer isn't working and so I cannot print any pictures of my new models. I guess it is time to use Walmart to print my pictures now until I can get a new printer.
Snowfoxx (above picture) sired his first foal! His colt's name is Troy, and he is owned by Trail Blazer Farms. If you want to see a picture of Troy, then feel free to go to my Pedigree website:
http://wintergreenpark.weebly.com/
If you want your foal to be sired by one of my stallions or you want a full pedigree, then be sure to send me an email! I reply very, very quickly. Your model does not need to be a foal to be sired. It just has to be the within the age of my stallions' (and if you are using one of my mares, my mares open years also) open years.
Send me an email at: cowgirlyssa@gmail.com if you are interested.
I am sure that you have noticed all of Snowfoxx's fall pictures. I took him outside for a photo shoot yesterday.I was going to take full body photos, but I got distracted and I pretty much just got Headstudy pictures. However, I think that they look pretty good!! What do you think of his pictures? Do you own Bayberry and Roses yet? What do you think of him?

I used to do the pedigree stuff, but I kinda just abandoned it :$ my schedule just got too busy with updating the results and pictures and etc.
ReplyDeleteBut anyway, here's a few great links that I found while I did this:
http://www.horsetesting.com/Equine/CCalculator1.asp
http://www.pedigreequery.com/generator/
I use these two websites often. They really help me when I am siring a horse.

Thanks for talking about Troy! I was inspired to take some fall photos of Forest, my breyer Frankle.
ReplyDeleteAnd you do reply really fast and you have a really nice personality too. Actually you're just awesome!
DeleteThank you! That was so nice of you to say! If you would like, I could post some of your fall photography on my blog. :)

Oh wow thank you so much! I would love to send in a few pictures. Each one kinda has a story behind it is that okay if I put that part in too?
DeleteMost certainly!!!!
DeleteHi! Did you go ride Leila and Leroy? If you did, how were they?
ReplyDeleteI rode Leila, and long story short I was bucked off. I stayed on for the first four bucks, but fell off on the fifth. I was asking her to canter, and she didn't want to, and bucked me off. I cannot blame her though. I was a new rider and she was green. I am okay, and I wasn't hurt. :)

I meant "I was a new rider on her back". I have been riding for over nine years!
DeleteOh No! That actually just happened to me too, accept I was at a show in front of some of the most amazing trainers when my horse did it and I didn't fall, I jumped off the third time she bucked. (Most embarrassing moment ever) But turns out she's tender footed and she didn't like the all weather material in the arena so I can't blame her either. Well good luck horse hunting!
ReplyDeleteMy friend Mrs. June, my mom, younger sister, and two trainers were watching me. It was very embarrassing! That is terrible for you! I am sorry about that. Do you own a horse? By the way you comment, it sounds like you have a lot of experience with horses.

ReplyDeleteSure! I would love to check out your blog. I have a new fellow minded miniature horse owner. :) I own two miniature horses, will be boarding another one in two weeks at our barn, and soon my mom and I will have a horse(s). I have been riding for over nine years, but for the first five years I was on a moody mare who didn't like humans.
